I

What have you been calling “just my job”?

What did people come to you for when they were stuck?

Think about every job you have had. The roles you stepped into beyond the title. The training you delivered and the things you helped people understand.

What did you make look easy because you had been doing it for years?

There may be a useful paid offer sitting inside that experience. Especially if you have come from corporate, or are building your business alongside a corporate role, you already understand situations that another team may need help with.

I want you to have a proper look at what you bring, then give a potential client a clear way to understand it.

II

The low-hanging fruit

You could begin with a focused review, a workshop or a defined project built around a problem you understand.

That work can help fund the wider business you want to build. You choose what you are offering and agree the scope and delivery arrangements with the buyer.

Your pitch deck helps you explain what the work could change, why your experience is relevant and what working together would involve.

III

What we will work through

We start with your experience inventory: every previous job, what you do now, the roles you have played and the training you have delivered.

Then we look for the patterns. What did people repeatedly trust you to handle? What did you notice that others missed? Which part of that work would you like to offer again?

From there, you choose one buyer and one useful piece of work. The guide helps you explain it through a deck that sounds like you and gives the reader a clear next step.

What is included

Everything in the kit laid out: the guide, the workbook, the editable deck and the completed example
Everything in the kit: the guide, the workbook, the editable deck and Nina’s completed example

An editable pitch deck

Ten pitch slides with prompts, speaker notes and spaces for your photographs, plus an instruction page you delete before sending. Opens in PowerPoint, Keynote and Google Slides.

The guide and the workbook

An experience inventory, examples that turn past work into possible services, a way to choose your first offer and help with every slide. The workbook is where you answer it all: type into it, or print it.

A completed example deck

Ten filled-in slides that sell with numbers: the problem in the buyer’s own figures, the offer, sample evidence, the fee beside the time it could release, and the invitation, with notes on the thinking behind each one.

Guidance for different buyers

Adapt your main deck for corporate teams, smaller businesses or someone asking to see your work.

One focused review from me

Send a draft of up to ten slides. I will look at whether the value is clear, what is missing and where your experience deserves more attention.

Voice-note feedback and one follow-up question

You will have clear points to work on, with room to ask about something in the feedback.

How it works

01

Get your experience on the page

Start with the inventory. You can include work from employment as well as your own business, with your contribution clearly explained.

02

Build your first pitch

Use the guide and template to put one offer in front of one type of buyer. Follow the suggested working day or break it into smaller sessions.

03

Send me your draft

Submit your deck within 30 days of purchase. I will send your feedback within five working days of receiving the complete draft. You then make your changes and can ask one follow-up question within seven days of receiving the feedback.

VI

This is for you if

You have useful experience and find it harder to explain the value of it than to do the work itself.

You are building a business alone, perhaps after a corporate career or alongside your current role, and want a clear way to pitch your services.

You are ready to write a first version and would value someone asking the question that helps you see what you have missed.

A note from Jess

I am Jess, The Fixer. I look for what is happening underneath the problem someone first describes. That is the thinking I have brought to this guide.

I use different versions of my own deck for different conversations. The point is to help the person reading it understand why the work is relevant to them.

With this kit, we start with your experience and give it the attention it deserves. Then I review your draft and help you see where the pitch could be clearer.

A few things you might be wondering

Do I need to know exactly what I am selling already?

Bring a broad idea of the work you could deliver. The inventory, service examples and offer-selection exercise will help you choose a useful starting offer and identify what you still need to check with a buyer. If you are still exploring, allow yourself more time for that part before finishing the slides.

Can I use experience from a previous job?

Yes. Explain the role you held, your own contribution and any shared result accurately. Describe employment experience as employment experience and check permission before including names or confidential details. The guide helps you choose an example that is relevant to this buyer.

Will you write the deck for me?

You write the draft using the guide and template. I review one version of up to ten slides and give you feedback to make your own changes. The package includes one follow-up question. A complete rewrite, redesign or further reviews would need a separate arrangement.

Do I need new brand photographs?

A clear photograph you already have can work well. The template shows where a headshot or full body image could go, with advice on choosing and cropping it. You can remove any photo space you do not need.

Does the review happen on the same day?

The suggested day is your time to build the first draft. My review happens after you submit it, within the five working days described above. You can also spread your build across smaller sessions.

What do I receive, and how?

After payment, I email your kit to you personally from jess@anaptyxuk.com within one working day: the guide and the typeable workbook as PDFs, the editable deck and the completed example as PowerPoint files that also open in Google Slides and Keynote, and a short note on how to send me your draft.

Your experience is a place to begin

You have already started remembering the work people relied on you for. Let’s turn that into a clear offer and a deck you can put in front of the right person.
